Frost on the Marsh, January 21

It was 12 degrees here this morning and frost formed on many surfaces. This reed stem lying on the marsh provided a nice platform for some frozen crystals to form.

Fox Revisited

I was looking through files of photographs taken this fall and winter and decided to post a few more of the fox I encountered on the morning of November 17. The day I saw him/her I thought that this might happen again, but it never has. He/she was so friendly, in fact seemed as curious about me as I was about it, I though certainly it would appear again. I have been at that same spot many, many times since, at the same time of day, but I have never seen it again. The pictures are nice though, so I am sharing a few more from that morning.
