I hunted bugs this afternoon. The first to show is this guy who remains unidentified by me. Any suggestions from you bug nuts out there?

Mr. Pratt! great pics, tell the family I said hi! Your bug is a species of assassin bug, of the family reduviidae. vicious predators they are, and deliver a nasty bite.

Dave, Thanks for the identification. I had a fair amount of physical contact with this guy to get him to ‘pose’ in the right places. I’m glad I didn’t experience his wrath!!
