Egrets are one of my favorite subjects when photographing in the wetlands of Delaware. They are back now and I look forward to many new shots this spring, summer and fall. I took this portrait on my way into work this morning.

Short-billed Dowitchers

These Dowitchers worked low tide mud flats looking for worms this evening at sunset. They carefully washed off the muddy worms before swallowing.
