A Narrow-Winged Damselfly

I found this guy in the marsh this morning. I know it is one of the Narrow-Winged Damselflies, and I lean toward a Short-stalked Damselfly, but if anyone knows better , please correct me. Thanks!

At Ease

Watching dragonflies recently I noticed that once they lit on a surface they paused then folded their wings forward over their faces. I wonder if this is a protective shield for thier eyes as they catch a few zzzs?

Mutual Attraction

I was in Connecticut over the weekend. Saturday morning I was attracted to blooming hostas, and so was this bumble be. Judging by the amount of pollen on its body, it was literally bathing in the blooms.

Meet Vanessa
