The wind howled here at the coast yesterday, the aftermath of a storm that passed through two nights ago. The wind blows sand throughout the dunes so I went out at dawn to look for interesting patterns.

Winter Solstice Sunset

Yesterday was the winter solstice and I watched sunset last night, at 4:43, as a small warm patch of light in a cold gray sky over Canary Creek in Lewes, DE.
