There are tens of thousands of Snow Geese in Delaware now and if luck is in your favor you might find a field at sunset where they are coming in to feed. The warm late day glow was a nice spotlight yesterday as these guys settled in.

Snow Geese are here in large numbers now, and this large group had spent the night on open water. As the first rays of the rising sun lit them up they jumped to head for a field to begin their day searching for food.

Clouds covered Delaware today and rain is forecast here tomorrow. I was lucky enough to get out at sunset last night and find these Snow Geese taking off from a corn field with a deafening chorus.
