After the Storm

We had a strong storm go through the area last night. The morning sun rose in clear sky while the last of the storm clouds in the west were lit up by the low angle light. The contrast of Winter Wheat, Red Maple buds and the dark sky caught my eye. On the way home tonight I saw this Merlin finishing a meal atop a utility line. He checked me out briefly, finished eating and went to find the next course.
