Storm Morning

December 16, 2020

A Nor’easter moved in over the Mid-Atlantic today bring snow to areas north of I95 and rain here along the coast.  We went out to the beach an hour before sunrise when stars were still out and there were very cool clouds mixed with plentiful open sky that held the promise (read hope) that a dramatic pre-storm sunrise would light up the sky.  Reality settled in before good light prevailed and the sky became completely overcast.  Missed it by about 30 minutes I think.  Nevertheless, there were interesting patterns and light that warranted both photographing the scene as well as sharing what I saw.
