I was asked to photograph a surf contest in Ocean City last Saturday followed by a memorial paddle out for a well known and loved local surfer on Sunday. Sunday morning was welcomed by a clear blue sky sunrise, little to no wind and fun, small waves. Prior to the paddle out a few surfers were out catching glassy translucent waves. This made for great photography opportunities. This image speaks early morning summer session, something I enjoyed in the water for decades but now watch and enjoy from the shore.
