I visited Ocean City inlet this morning for sunrise. Cold ocean water and hot, humid air over that chilly water set up a very hazy sky. About 20 minutes after the sun rose the sky was a beautiful gold color, a very unique sunrise light as the early morning sun lit up the haze. It was fun watching so many people starting their Saturday just after 6 this morning. In the parking lot the strong southerly wind off the water dropped the temperature to 69 degrees. One block in from the beach it was 78. As I drove from the parking lot to Baltimore Ave., one block to the west, all my car windows fogged up on the outside. The car was cooler than the dew point!
