When weather changes the sky is often interesting and sometimes dramatic. Such was the case in Lewes this morning as a cold front, that brought long waited for rain, passed through early this morning. Anticipating an interesting sky as clouds separated and sunshine began to break through, I took my drone out with the self imposed challenge of looking for a different scene to shoot. It is easy, maybe reliable is a better word, to use an often photographed scene different only by the sky or light casting on it. I did, at first, put my drone up in a location I have used many times in the past but followed that with spots and angles not used previously. I like this scene over the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal in Lewes with some drama in the sky but very calm, flat canal water surface showing just a hint of breeze. I’ll let Dan Satterfield better describe the clouds making up this frontal boundary if he sees this post.
