After the Snow: PLEASE VOTE

January 28, 2011

A small snow storm results in small drifts along a strech of dune fence at Cape Henlopen.

I went back to work on this photograph a little bit. Which do you like better the one above or the one below? EVERYBODY COMMENT, PLEASE!!

I vote for the one on the bottom. There is more contrast. Nice shot!

Would use top for everything above snow fence and bottom for fence and below – don’t you just love masks!

Sorry, everybody — I have to go w/the top one. Though the bottom one is crisper and more clear, more attention is drawn to the fence as opposed to the whole scene. The top one appears more natural — the entire scene becomes the subject — a true depiction of a cold, gray wintery day.

I’d go with the one with more snap, as long as the highlights didn’t get blown out in the process. Might be interesting to try some infrared shots of this scene in the future.
