So my friend Bill Fintel predicts the return of Osprey to the DE coast on Valentine’s Day. This is earlier than the previously expected first day of spring arrival date, by Bill’s experience. Keep your eyes peeled on Tuesday and see if Bill’s adjusted-for-climate warming predicted date is on target. I hope so as their return is a far better indicator of the end of winter than Punxsutawney Phil’s.
