Four weeks ago I posted a photograph of a pregnant deer who appeared to be close to introducing her fawn, or fawns, to the world (seen again in the first photo). Now there are two does seen frequently in the woods with fawns. One mom has twins and the other has one offspring. In the second photo, the fawn with no sibling stops morning play with one of its twin cousins to load up on its mom’s finest nutrition. The twin, feeling a bit excluded, exits the scene to return to its own mom and sibling a few feet away. Great goings on in the woods this morning.
