Continuing in my vein of snowy, winter scenes a condition not often seen is a full on snowstorm in natural, oceanfront dunes. This photograph, taken in Cape Henlopen State Park, was taken just as a significant snowfall is ending, the sun is breaking out and lighting up the ocean in the background. My love of getting out to photograph bad weather shows quite evidently in this photo. I was with Kevin Fleming that day I recall we waded through several inches of new snow to get to this spot overlooking the Atlantic. In all I think we shot outside for a couple of hours and it wasn’t until we had finished the shoot that I noticed how cold and wet I was, especially my fingers which had been outside of my gloves working camera settings.
