I love skies with some drama mixed in. Pending storms, the edges of weather systems, a clearing storm, or dark and gloomy clouds it doesn’t matter, somehow a change in the weather or the threat of weather to come sirs deeply in our human DNA. Thousands upon thousands of years of human evolution living at the mercy of weather implants in us a fundamental instinct to pay attention to the sky. I saw interesting, appealing sky yesterday that yelled out THREAT!! Let’s just say it was the sky that yelled wolf, so to speak, and it got my attention. Lots of bark but no bite.
