Did you know that cultivated peaches originated in northwest China maybe as long ago as 6,000 BC. Eight thousand years later we are still pretty enthusiastic about local peaches tree ripening and being available in our stores. Bennett Orchards anticipated a big day at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market today. I was enthusiastic about the great color in this scene.
