This photograph was taken a few years back in September of a sunset on Rehoboth Bay. We are lucky, here in coastal Delaware, to have the treasure of the three bays that are collectively known as our Inland Bays. Through the mighty efforts of the Center for the Inland Bays to preserve, protect and enhance the water quality, biodiversity, and protective marsh and beaches of the bay’s shores, we residents and visitors have a vast area of water and tidal lands to enjoy. The Center holds an annual fundraiser every year and it happens to be this Thursday at the Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach from 6:30 to 9:30. Come out and help support the bays and the Center if you can. You can also bid on one of my Photography prints that I’ve donated to the Center for the event’s silent auction. I hope to see you there.
