I got an early birthday present yesterday. My wife, Pam, gave me a new Nikon flash and a diffuser hood to better light macro photography. Of course I had to try out my new toys as quickly as possible so I walked around the woods behind my house in search of possible subjects shortly before sunset yesterday. I found what I believe is a sweat bee working on the blossom of a mountain mint plant. I love the new equipment.
