I actually drove away from the beach tonight before sunset, but hadn’t gotten far before the sun popped out beneath the clouds. I quickly turned around and was rewarded with a beautiful sky perfectly lit.

Beautiful!!
I saw this picture and the B & W picture you took. I was wondering where you took this picture from. I have been trying to get a picture of the sunset with the lighthouse in it but have not been successful. Was this taken near the point looking Westward towards the inner light? Just wondering. Let me know if you can. Beautiful shot and the B & W shot is awesome as well.
